STARCRAFT II UPDATES

The StarCraft II ESL Pro Tour concludes in 2021 at IEM Katowice!

After an extended year of intense competition, it has been rounded it right down to just 36 final contenders. From February 20 to twenty-eight, these challengers from across the planet compete over their share of the $250,000 prize pool – and therefore the once during a lifetime chance to lift the fantastic trophy of IEM Katowice 2021.

Blizzard Is Officially Ending Development on ‘StarCraft 2’

The ‘StarCraft’ team is freeing themselves to “think about what’s next”.

Blizzard is looking to wind down further development on the real-time strategy game StarCraft 2.In a recent blog post, the developer announced that it might be ending production on additional “for-purchase content” for the sport within the near future. While balance fixes and other updates will still be a priority, there’ll be no new content produced for the title. Instead, the team is going to be that specialize in “what’s next” further down the road.

There will be no further updates this year, but there’ll be future updates “as needed” within the future. As far as what players can anticipate, Blizzard has noted that being freed up for what essentially amounts to brainstorming extends beyond StarCraft 2 into the “StarCraft universe as an entire .”

It’s been since 2015 since the standalone expansion pack StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void debuted. However, StarCraft: Remastered debuted in 2017, and offered how for players both new and old to experience the first game that started it all with modern graphics and other important updates.

It isn’t clear at now what Blizzard has up its sleeve going forward, but with the top of an era will hopefully come some big developments.
